This 2025 Fall Season will go from September 29th to December 15th.

Through Seattle Children’s Theater we are offering 2 enrichment programs, 11 classes each, that will run from 2:25 to 4:00 every Monday, except for Thanksgiving break.

1)  K-2, 12 openings

“Actor's Toolkit Residency”

In this class with Seattle Children’s Theatre, students learn the fundamentals of acting through energetic theatre games and exercises. We'll tackle the most important question every actor faces: "What's my objective?" Once we understand what our characters want, we'll explore the tactics they might use to achieve their goals - and what happens when they run into obstacles along the way.

Curriculum is tailored to student interest, with unique elements of movement, imagination, and learning how to perform for an audience! Join SCT for this exploration of what it means to be a performer. Break a leg!

2) 3rd-5th, 15 openings

“lntro to Theatre & Design Residency”

In this after-school class with Seattle Children’s Theatre, students will learn about all of the components involved in creating a play – on stage and off. SCT Teaching Artists will guide students through introductory acting and performing exercises to learn about characters, movement, improv, writing, and more. They’ll also dive into activities related to technical theatre, such as designing for sets, props, costumes, makeup, lighting and sound. This opportunity is designed for students who want to learn more about all of the different theatre components, and build out their theatre toolkit with both performance and backstage skills. Join SCT for this exploration of what it means to be a performer, artist, and designer.

NOTE: Program open to children who want to perform and  to those who want to be backstage.

Tuition for each program is $250. If your family needs a scholarship, please email Kathy Katzen at kkatzen@seattleschools.org.

This is the link to enroll and it will go live on Friday September 12th, 2025, at 8PM.
